The second and the last day as well at Yosemite, we didn’t have enough time to go on another trail. Decided to be typical tourists visiting Yosemite, we went sightseeing at several tourist attractions such as Tunnel View, Lower and Upper Yosemite Falls, Meadow, etc.

Meadow (at Halfdome Village)

This is one of the most “Instagram-able” spot in Yosemite with an unending sea of magical green as the red wood forest emerges at the end of the meadow in springtime. Wake up early and you’ll avoid the crowds at the Meadow. Additionally, having a morning walk at sunrise in Yosemite is an incredible experience that you definitely shouldn’t miss. We were strolling along the rustic wooden pathway at the middle of greenery, taking pictures and filming footages for an hour before leaving.

Lower and Upper Yosemite Falls

Yosemite Falls is probably the most iconic feature of Yosemite National Park. The waterfall itself is actually 3 waterfalls, upper, middle, and lower. Interestingly, the lower and upper falls are visible from the entrance point of the trail. As I read Yosemite guide on the Internet, the waterfall is actually more beautiful when you witness it at a far off distance. That being said there is no need to hike all the way up to the top of the waterfall to take good shots of it.

Tunnel View

Located at the western entrance, at the Tunnel View lookout point, you can take photos of the most famous landscape of Yosemite Valley. Bridalveil Fall pouring down on the right, the granite rock formation of El Capitan on the left, with Half Dome hiding behind, all these create a shape of a tunnel that perfectly framed by a tons of of pine trees and wide-open skies above.

On the way

There are so many spots that you can randomly stop by to take  photos especially on the way to Tunnel View. We passed by several photogenic panoramas and spontaneously pulled off the road to film footages and take more pictures.
